Hydraulic vane pumps are divided into gear pump, vane pump and plunger pump.

1.Gear Pump

Advantages: smaller volume, simpler structure, lax requirement on cleanliness of oil and lower price.

Disadvantages: The pump shaft suffers from unbalanced force, serious wear and large leakage.

2.Vane Pump

Advantages: It is divided into double-acting vane pump and single-acting vane pump. This kind of pump has uniform flow, smooth operation and low noise.

Disadvantages: the oil absorption property is not very good, and it is also sensitive to oil pollution, with complex structure and high manufacturing process requirements.

(Compared with single-acting vane pump, double-acting vane pump has good flow uniformity and the radial hydraulic pressure on the rotor body is basically balanced)

3.Plunger Pump

Advantages: high volume efficiency, small leakage, can work under high pressure, mostly used in high-power hydraulic systems.

Disadvantages: complex structure, high requirements for materials and processing precision, high price and high requirements for oil cleanliness.

Generally, the plunger pump is only used when the gear pump and vane pump cannot meet the requirements. There are also some other types of hydraulic pumps, such as screw pumps, but their applications are not as common as the above three types.

Taizhou Hongyi Hydraulic Servo Technology Co., Ltd. is the leading manufacturer of high performance vane pumps in China.
